Poncin was made by Véhicules Poncin in Tournes, France. Prototyping began in 1980 with the first model sold in 1981. Multiple 6×6 and 8×8 models were produced during the company’s lifetime. There are quite a number of survivors today, with inventor Gilles Poncin regularly posting information in vintage ATV groups.
