Our 2021 Year in Review
New Accessories
For 2021, we released new accessories that have already become customer favorites. The first one is a canvas windshield cover – for use with the Mudd-Ox aluminum cab. This cover helps to protect the glass when transporting the vehicle long distances on a trailer.
The greatest part of an aluminum cab is the ability to install a radio and air conditioning. The downside, however, is leaving the rear compartment area open to the environment. This pushed us to design a canvas cab that keeps rear passengers and cargo out of the weather, and it is quickly removable. It’s the perfect balance for those who required an aluminum cab, but want the ability to keep the rear of their Mudd-Ox enclosed when required. The rear enclosure works in conjunction with a safari rack.
Although we’ve offered windshield wipers for many years, we never installed a sprayer system. The verdict is… we should have offered these years ago. The sprayer is great for pre-soaking any dirt or dust on the windshield before the wiper clears off the glass.
Video Comparison
Perhaps our most informative videos to date, the Mudd-Ox Model Comparison answers just about every question a new customer may have. We placed a Vengeance, XL and Fort Mac side by side to showcase all the differences between each model including driving characteristics, maintenance requirements, and overall capabilities. This video offers an in-depth look at the Mudd-Ox which words on a screen just can’t provide.
Speaking of videos, check out the Fort Mac absolutely powering through steep and muddy terrain.
Online Museum
We began digitalizing our vintage ATV literature in 2019. It has proven to be an extremely ambitious, yet rewarding project. For 2021, our most prized uploads to the online museum are thanks to a father-son duo. They were lucky enough to visit with Marvin Feldmann, who invented and produced the Terra Tiger. Marvin provided them with original Terra Tiger photographs including the assembly line, demonstration for Allis Chalmers, and even an 8×8 model produced for the Canadian military.
We also have two historic ATV videos to share:
Final Words
We are genuinely thankful to be part of such a niche and thrilling industry. Here’s to an exciting 2022!
