Information is vague on ARKAT due to limited production by Leisure Products Division/Brandt Inc from Carlisle, Arkansas. Accord to Sid Wallach’s book on ATV history, Edward Brant designed this 6×6. Unfortunately, engineers did not build adequate cooling vents for the 2-stroke JLO 295 and engines blew after approximately 10 hours of operation. Brant discontinued ARKAT in 1972, not before selling one to Hussein of Jordan.
