Argo is the longest running amphibious ATV company in the world. It all started in the mid 1960’s when it’s parent company, Ontario Drive and Gear from Canada, produced transmissions for another manufacturer. Eventually, ODG decided to create their own self-titled Argo model in 1967. With an early stake in the market and ODG backing them up, Argo was sent straight to the top. All major components are made in-house including the transmission.
